Frequently Asked Questions

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > select Owl Lock > Cancel Subscription. You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Open Owl Lock and tap Restore on the subscription screen. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Your subscription will be restored automatically.

Make sure you have granted Screen Time permissions during setup. Go to Settings > Screen Time and verify it's enabled. If issues persist, try removing and re-adding your blocked apps in the Owl Lock settings. Note: iOS 16 or later is required.

Yes. Open Owl Lock, tap the Settings icon (top right on the home screen), then tap Sleep Schedule to adjust your bedtime and wake time. Changes take effect immediately.

Yes. Go to Settings > Apps to Block in Owl Lock. The iOS app picker will appear, letting you select or deselect apps and categories. Your updated selection will apply to the next sleep window.

During your sleep window, if you try to open a blocked app, Owl Lock will ask you to complete a short wind-down activity first. After completing one, you can unlock all apps for a 15-minute break. Apps will be automatically blocked again when the break ends.

Yes. All your data (sleep schedule, selected apps, streaks) is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes everything. Your subscription remains active through Apple and can be restored if you reinstall.
